The Witnesses of Jesus Christ Project allows Christians to respond to the Islamist threat by sharing their personal experience with Jesus Christ in an outcry of testimony which is not constrained by a specific National or Christian denominational response. In essence it is a Christian grass roots response to the Islamist’s threat to our liberty in Christ. Witnesses of Jesus Christ invite all to come to know Jesus as they know Him and refuse the Islamist’s call to convert to Islam. Western Christian society is threatened today by radical Islamists who wish to establish Islamic hegemony and rule by Shariah (the law of the Koran) – just as the Taliban ruled Afghanistan and Islamists recently attempted in Somalia . Radical Islamists are calling for the Christian world to repent and convert to Islam. For a Christian to convert to Islam, he or she must accept the Islamic tenants that Jesus is not the Son of God, was not crucified and resurrected, and has not yet accomplished His mission as Messiah.

The nations to which most Christians belong, offer freedom of religion to Muslim, Jew and Christian alike, and cannot respond to this Islamist conversion call because they take a neutral stand toward all religion. The Islamists claim the right to kill our citizens by the millions if we do not heed their call. One Islamic cleric in Saudi Arabia issued a Fatwa permitting Al Quada to kill up to 10 million Americans using nuclear weapons. Free nations respond to protect themselves from the Islamist’s violence and to ensure freedom of religion, but they cannot answer the call to repent and convert. The individual citizen must consider their own response to the Islamist’s call. While we support our free nations in their efforts to protect us, we must also reject the Islamist’s thought that we are all corrupt and that faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God is false religion. The Witnesses of Jesus Christ Project allows those who have had personal experience with Jesus Christ, to stand and be counted for God’s truth, just as Stephen and then Saul (Paul) and many early Christians stood for the truth by recounting their personal experience with the risen Lord and Savior. Witnesses of Jesus Christ can respond with knowledge and witness to God’s truth that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, the resurrected Savior and Redeemer of all mankind. Such a response sounds a clear refusal to convert to Islam – a refusal to deny the divine nature of Jesus Christ and His resurrection. Such a response calls into question the Islamist’s false hope in a returning Messianic Jesus who will convert all to Islam.

The Witnesses of Jesus Christ Project is a private project established by Neil Holland, a Christian, a U.S. military officer, and a publisher who spent five years living in Saudi Arabia . He is one of the published witnesses of Jesus Christ listed on the Witnesses of Jesus Christ web site. Witnesses are individuals who know Jesus Christ through a personal experience that has transcended faith and belief – such experience as produces knowledge – who will not deny their witness experience of Jesus and convert to Islam. Neil felt that such individuals needed a way to (1) respond to Islam’s call, (2) promote religious freedom, and (3) stand as witnesses of Jesus Christ. The Witnesses of Jesus Christ Project publishes the written accounts of these Christian witnesses. Each witness is published on the project’s sacred website – one that provides no format for debate. The surnames of some witnesses are withheld out of respect for their privacy and sacred encounter with Christ.
